Baby Travel Essentials
Up, up and away
Princess E has officially had her first cross country adventure!
At 3.5 months old, she’s already a traveling pro! I’d like to think of myself as an efficient trip packer and this one was no different, just required a bit more finesse! Here are my top travel must-haves for an infant to make life easier (click through for links):
Mini cooler insert - TSA allows you to take a “reasonable amount” of formula, breastmilk or juice for children through security…with this amazing mini cooler, I was able to pre-make 2 bottles, enough for our flight, and store them safely in her diaper bag until needed!
Packing cubes - these packing cubes are a game changer, I honestly want some for myself…one for diapers, one for clothes, one for miscellaneous items ect. They keep everything in its place and make keeping your bag organized AF
Formula Tower - great for on the go feedings…this one holds 4 meals which we pre-scooped prior to leaving home! The easy pour spout fits perfectly into her bottles and makes shaking up a snack super smooth!
Stroller/Car seat bag - I knew gate checking the stroller and the car seat was going to be a challenge if we encountered any weather (no one likes a wet car seat!) luckily, this bag fit both stroller and seat very easily…we have the NUNA for size reference and there was plenty of room!
Baby Headphones - we didn’t have these on the flight out and regretted it…thank god for Amazon prime lol
Other things I had packed that came in handy:
Mini dish soap for sanitizing bottles
Extra burp cloths + bibs
A mini laundry bag for her dirties
Scented doggie poop bags for dirty diaper changes in the hotel
Obviously things like spray hand sanitizer, foldable changing pad, disinfecting wipes and snacks make the list as well but these are no brainers! The only thing I regret not having and will 100% bring next time is a nightlight!
