Frozen Peanut Butter Banana Bombs
Healthy Dessert in a Snap
When you’re looking for a quick and easy dessert that will satisfy ALL of those sweet tooth cravings, look no further than these Frozen Peanut Butter Banana Bombs!
Equipment:
- Small to medium cookie sheet
- Parchment paper
- Small glass bowl
Ingredients:
- 2 to 4 semi-ripe bananas
- Peanut butter or favorite kind of nut butter
- Dark chocolate chips
- Shelled peanuts or nuts of choice
Process:
1. Peel and slice the bananas horizontally and then once again vertically
2. Spread generous amount of peanut butter, or nut butter along each cut edge
3. Place nut butter covered nanners on a parchment lined cookie sheet
4. Chop desired nuts, peanuts or candied pecans are delish, and sprinkle on top
5. In a small, microwavable bowl slowly melt the dark chocolate chips until smooth, about 1:30, stirring every 20-30 seconds
6. Drizzle melted chocolate over the top of the bananas with a spoon or butter knife in a zig zag motion *que artistic flare*
7. Freeze 2-4 hours and enjoy!
