In Progress: Garage Makeover
Garage Conversion:
From dreary storage room to epic man cave/laundry sanctuary - this room is our first project of 2019! We are taking on this monster project all by ourselves, with a little help from my superhero Dad along the way! It’s going to be a work in progress for awhile, but hey - with only one or two weddings to look forward to this year, we will need something to fill our weekends!
The Plans:
- Remove cabinets on laundry side wall
- Reface remaining cabinets with more modern shaker style look
- Create wood feature wall / mount TV
- Build in custom bar under window
- Paint, decorate and furnish
Here is the progress we have made so far:
Six top cabinets and one bottom down, five more to go! Any guesses on what color we decided to paint these guys? I’ll give you a hint, its NOT white for once!
Once we get these wrapped up, the wood feature wall will be the next big step! Stay tuned for more progress shots along the way! Hope to have this room complete by mid spring!
